Role Purpose

The HR Manager will lead the Human Resources function with a focus on manpower planning and operations. This role ensures that the workforce aligns with project needs, supports company growth, and maintains high employee morale, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key ResponsibilitiesFunctionDutiesManpower Planning & Forecasting- Assess manpower requirements based on project pipeline and workloads.
- Prepare manpower budgets and staffing plans.
- Identify skill gaps and align training/recruitment accordingly.Recruitment & Onboarding- Manage end-to-end recruitment: JD preparation, sourcing, interviewing, selection.
- Conduct structured onboarding and induction programs (safety, project, quality norms).Workforce Deployment & Shift Assignment- Allocate manpower across projects (panels, transformer service, turnkey works).
- Plan shifts, rotations, and overtime.
- Monitor attendance, timesheets, and leave records.Performance Management & Employee Relations- Define performance metrics/KPIs for all roles.
- Conduct appraisals, feedback sessions.
- Handle grievances, improve engagement, and boost employee morale.Training, Development & Retention- Identify technical and behavioral training needs.
- Implement upskilling programs (electrical safety, technical skills, soft skills).
- Develop retention strategies for skilled manpower.Compliance, Policy & Labour Laws- Ensure compliance with Indian labour laws, statutory remittances (PF, ESIC, etc.).
- Maintain HR policies and employee contracts.
- Liaise with government/regulatory authorities for labour compliance.HR Operations, Budget & Reporting- Prepare and manage HR budget.
- Monitor manpower costs (wages, overtime, absenteeism).
- Maintain HR dashboards and reports (utilization, attrition, recruitment lead time).Coordination with Other Departments- Collaborate with Project Managers, Fabrication, Transformer Service, and Operations teams.
- Work with Finance, Procurement, and Safety for seamless project execution.Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s/Diploma in HR preferred.
  • Experience: 4–7 years (or more) in HR, with strong exposure to manpower management in industrial/electrical/manufacturing/project sectors.

Reporting & Stakeholders

  • Reports To: Managing Director / Plant Head / Projects Head
  • Works Closely With: Project Managers, Operations & Installation Teams, Fabrication & Transformer Service Units, Finance & Payroll, Safety Department

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Recruitment & deployment lead time for projects
  • Manpower utilization (% productive vs. idle time)
  • Overtime hours & costs vs. budget
  • Attendance & absenteeism rates
  • Attrition rates (especially skilled workforce)
  • Employee satisfaction & grievance resolution time
  • Compliance with labour laws & statutory filings

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹16,390.83 - ₹25,232.88 per month
