**Job Summary:**

As the HR Manager, you will work closely with the HR Director to manage the day-to-day execution of essential HR functions, including talent attraction, performance management, compliance, employee engagement, and leadership support across the organization. Your role will blend strategic oversight with hands-on execution, empowering you to own key HR programs and work directly with senior leaders to enhance the employee experience and elevate our people strategy.


In this position, you will lead the Talent Training team, ensuring harmony between recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance processes while driving efficiency and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will serve as a trusted HR partner to supply chain and retail operations leaders and play a significant role in the overall success of our HR strategy.


**Key Responsibilities:**


  • Collaborate with the HR Director to implement and enhance a people-first HR strategy that emphasizes diversity and inclusion.
  • Oversee talent attraction efforts, guiding the Talent Training team in developing and executing innovative sourcing strategies for diverse talent pipelines.
  • Train and coach hiring managers on interview best practices and establish consistent, compliant hiring processes.
  • Analyze HR data, including cost-per-hire, turnover, and engagement metrics, to inform strategic decisions and promote continuous improvement.
  • Manage HR processes through an HRIS, ensuring that performance evaluations are executed on time, audited for quality, and calibrated fairly across all levels of the organization.
  • Provide balanced support and advice to leaders in navigating employee relations, particularly within unionized or partially unionized settings.
  • Coordinate labor law compliance and ensure policy consistency across multiple locations, while overseeing handbook reviews and necessary updates.
  • Foster strong collaboration with other HR functions (training, compliance, engagement, and retention) to ensure the team is responsive to business needs.
  • Inspire accountability and growth within the HR team, actively promoting personal and professional development among team members.


**About You:**


  • Proven experience as an HR professional with a balanced approach to strategy and execution, emphasizing a people-first methodology.
  • Expertise in developing diverse talent attraction strategies, including experience in leading recruitment teams.
  • Comfortable with training hiring managers on best practices and promoting compliance throughout the hiring process.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills to track and report on HR metrics that drive decision-making.
  • Proficient in using HRIS for performance management and employee evaluations.
  • Adaptable in supporting leadership at all organizational levels, particularly in fast-paced or labor-sensitive environments.
  • Knowledge of employee relations, particularly in unionized contexts, and ability to provide equitable guidance to leadership.
  • Strong collaborator who fosters communication across various HR functions to drive organizational alignment.
