HR Manager

As an HR Manager, you’ll help drive Concora Credit’s Mission to enable customers to Do More with Credit – every single day.

As our HR Manager, you will:

  • HR Leadership: Leads by example and communicates all applicable human resources processes to managers, including disciplinary procedures, recruitment, onboarding, orientation, employee relations, benefits, performance reviews, employment verification, file management, and other HR-related processes.
  • Employee Relations: Fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring policy compliance, managing conflicts, and conducting investigations.
  • Partner to the Business: Provide technical advice and knowledge to others within the human resources discipline.
    • Serve as the subject matter expert on federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (e.g., ADA, FMLA, FLSA, EEO).
    • Coach and guide managers on effective performance management, including setting expectations, providing feedback, and developing and implementing Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and Corrective Actions.
  • Ensure Data Integrity: Develop and implement processes to ensure the accuracy, confidentiality, and security of all Team Member data and records, in line with data privacy regulations.
  • Streamline HR Processes: Design, monitor, and continuously improve HR operational processes, such as onboarding, offboarding, and Team Member changes, to increase efficiency and enhance Team Member experience.
  • Manage Ohio Facilities: Partner with the Operations team for events and weekly lunches, including budget and engagement. Manages facility repairs and vendor services to ensure the worksite is welcoming.
  • All other job duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Requires a 4-year degree in Business, HR, or a related field plus 7-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Must possess extreme attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and analytical thinking ability.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills using Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Ability to task analyze and problem solve at both a strategic and functional level.
  • The incumbent must meet work deadlines, have regular attendance, and have good oral and written communication skills.
  • High level of confidentiality, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work with a team.
  • Ability to multitask.
