Job Description


We’re looking for an HR Coordinator who will serve as a trusted resource for staff, delivering timely, empathetic support and ensuring smooth processes across onboarding, offboarding, workforce data, and HR operations. This role blends customer service, operational excellence, and a strong team culture to help us create an inclusive, supportive workplace. HR Team and Customer Support:

  • Using customer service ticketing systems (Zendesk), knowledge management tools, and other resources, provide support to employees and leaders. Issues can include support with our HRIS, employment verifications, and W2 access.
  • Assists HR team leaders with planning, marketing, and rollout of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Manages calendars and logistics; hosts and supports HR team meetings and office hours.
  • Process all HR invoices in a timely manner; accurately track invoices to ensure completion.
  • Support HR team culture by leading recognition of birthdays, work anniversaries, and other important milestones.
  • Compiles and distributes weekly communications to HR team.
  • Supports Associates with effective onboarding, off-boarding, and transferring of all employees, including I-9 compliance, data compliance, and staff files, ensuring all staff receive vital onboarding documents and separation information in a timely manner.

Workforce Data and Analysis:

  • Executes requests for data and delivers appropriate analysis of meaningful HR data
  • Compiles information for routine reporting and analysis
  • Communicates data on an established schedule to necessary stakeholders.
  • Zendesk Ticket distribution and resolution
  • Onboarding Support: first response for basic onboarding questions
  • Procurement and Invoice processing
  • Offboarding Support: ensuring staff exit with the resources they need
  • Regular research and auditing
  • Team support with meetings, staff culture initiatives, and calendar invitations

Qualifications


Education Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's preferred

Experience Requirements:

  • 2 years of direct experience required
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to write clearly and empathetically.
    • Strong focus on clients and the ability to establish partnerships and work collaboratively with leaders and staff
    • Excellent organization, time management, and follow-up skills; ability to prioritize
    • Fast implementation of feedback from multiple stakeholders
    • Outstanding judgment, sensitivity, and high discretion
    • Fast learner with solid attention to detail
    • Eagerness to involve in problem-solving, for immediate customer-oriented solutions

Compensation

Compensation for this role is between $25.34-$29.81


Starting pay is determined using various factors including but not limited to relevant professional experience, education, certifications, and tenure with Uncommon Schools. If you meet all job description requirements you will likely receive an offer of $25.34
