The HR Operations Head will lead and optimize the full spectrum of Human Resources operations across multi-store retail locations. This role is responsible for driving HR excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, developing performance-driven HR processes, and building a people-centric culture to support rapid expansion and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end HR operational activities across retail outlets, warehouses, and corporate offices.
- Oversee Talent Acquisition operations, onboarding, deployment, and manpower planning for store and support functions.
- Build scalable HR processes, SOPs, and HRIS systems to support high-volume recruitment and fast retail expansion.
- Drive employee relations, grievance resolution, and engagement initiatives to strengthen employee satisfaction and retention.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and internal governance standards.
- Lead payroll administration, attendance management and end-to-end employee lifecycle activities.
- Plan and monitor HR budgets including manpower costs, compensation structures, and benefits programs.
- Provide leadership to HR teams across regions; mentor, develop and evaluate HR staff performance.
- Collaborate closely with business leaders to understand workforce needs and support business strategy.
- Lead HR analytics and reporting for decision-making on attrition, productivity, and staffing trends.
- Implement digital HR initiatives for automation and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s / MBA in Human Resources or equivalent specialization.
- 8-10+ years of HR experience.
- Strong expertise in multi-location HR operations, payroll management, and labor law compliance.
- Hands-on knowledge of HRMS/HRIS, payroll systems, and workforce scheduling tools.
- Proven track record in high-volume recruitment and employee engagement.
- Excellent leadership, analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
