HR Operations Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Operations Specialist to support the day-to-day functioning of the HR department. The role will focus on core HR operational activities including employee onboarding, documentation, grievance handling, performance management support, and maintaining employee records.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys managing people processes, ensuring smooth employee experiences, and supporting HR initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Coordinate end-to-end onboarding process for new hires
  • Conduct induction sessions and ensure smooth joining formalities
  • Manage employee documentation, offer letters, and HR records
  • Support probation confirmation and exit formalities when required

2. HR Operations & Documentation

  • Maintain employee files, HR databases, and MIS reports
  • Ensure timely updates of HR policies and employee data
  • Assist in drafting HR letters (confirmation, warning, appraisal, etc.)
  • Support compliance with HR processes and internal guidelines

3. Grievance Handling & Employee Relations

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns and grievances
  • Support resolution of workplace issues in a confidential and professional manner
  • Coordinate with managers and HR leadership for timely closure of cases
  • Promote a positive and healthy work environment

4. Performance Management Support

  • Assist in implementing performance appraisal cycles
  • Coordinate performance review meetings and documentation
  • Track KPI/goal-setting processes and employee feedback
  • Support performance improvement plans (PIP) and follow-ups

5. HR Policy Implementation & Engagement

  • Support execution of HR policies and employee handbook guidelines
  • Assist in employee engagement activities, surveys, and initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to company culture and HR best practices

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in HR Operations or HR Generalist role
  • Strong understanding of onboarding, HR documentation, and employee relations
  • Familiarity with performance management processes
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS tools ( KEKA HR preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
