HR Operations Specialist

In this role, you will support key HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, HRIS processes, compliance readiness, and employee support.

What You’ll Do

As an HR Operations Specialist, you will provide operational and administrative support across multiple HR functions, including:

  • Support new hire onboarding and orientation processes, including credentialing requirements and orientation roster management.
  • Assist with HRIS data entry, workflows, and payroll processing backup.
  • Manage tasks related to requisitions, unemployment claims, and new hire system entry.
  • Serve as a resource for employee inquiries related to benefits, recruitment, payroll, and HR processes.
  • Provide front-line HR support, including reception coverage and general administrative assistance.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives, including policy management, exit interviews, team projects, and presentation preparation.
  • Process and track credentialing requirements and follow up on delinquent items to ensure compliance.
  • Assist with Joint Commission readiness activities, audits, subpoena responses, and other compliance-related tasks.
  • Maintain HR documentation, reports, and meeting notes while supporting daily department operations.

These responsibilities help ensure smooth HR operations and a positive experience for employees across the organization.

What We’re Looking For

  • Associate’s degree required
  • Candidates without a degree must have 10+ years of related experience
  • Minimum 3 years of related HR or administrative experience
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Windows)
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
