- Talent acquisition: Identify, attract, and engage qualified candidates through various channels like online job boards, social media, and networking events.
- Process management: Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, which includes writing job descriptions, posting job ads, screening applications, and coordinating interviews with hiring managers.
- Candidate assessment: Conduct interviews (phone, video, or in-person) to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Hiring and onboarding: Present qualified candidates to hiring managers, negotiate salary and benefits, conduct background checks, and assist with the onboarding of new hires.
- Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide regular updates on the recruitment process.
- Record keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities, often using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Employer branding: Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring candidates have a positive experience and building the company's reputation as a desirable place to work.
Required skills and qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is often required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills are essential for interacting with candidates and hiring managers.
- Proficiency with recruitment software, such as applicant tracking systems (ATS), is usually necessary.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities are needed to manage a heavy workload and multiple roles.
- A deep understanding of recruitment techniques and knowledge of employment laws and regulations are important
