HR Sr. Associate - Centralized Time Keeping (1-year contract) - At Amazon we believe that every day is day one. We are building a brand new HR Services shared services team in Manila to support Amazon's growth globally, providing multi-language capability to internal customers. The hub will deliver instant, high-quality services across APAC and beyond, including employee transactional processes such as onboarding, centralized timekeeping, data management, exits, and compliance activities.

About Amazon Centralized Timekeeping

The Centralized Timekeeping (CTK) team aims to streamline time and attendance data entry, reduce payroll defects, and maintain high service levels. CTK supports time and attendance for thousands of Amazon Associates. Requests for edits are submitted via MyTime and through a ticketing system from operators and HR. The team manages the system and ticket queue on a FIFO basis, prioritizing payroll-impacting tickets when there is risk of a payroll defect. The team's efforts ensure time and attendance matters are handled with speed and accuracy, guided by customer obsession.

Position Description

Join Amazon's HR Services team in Manila as a Time and Attendance Operational Admin. This role specializes in time and attendance management. The Timekeeper role is a centralized function that will manage time and attendance matters for buildings across the network. This role requires fast, accurate, and reliable data entry. You will work on the MyTime system or related systems and handle a trouble ticket queue of time and attendance issues. Your primary focus will be the resolution of incoming time and attendance inquiries with opportunities for other engagement upon completion of centralized responsibilities. You may participate in continuous improvement process projects. A keen understanding of Amazon's attendance policies, employee groups, and applicable state and federal laws is necessary. Timekeepers will focus on system and ticketing, data auditing, and related tasks. Perform other projects and duties as required. You will report directly to the team leader.

Responsibilities
  • Manage time and attendance matters for buildings across the network using MyTime or related systems.
  • Process timekeeping requests and resolve inquiries with speed and accuracy.
  • Audit data and ensure accurate and timely payment of the employee population.
  • Escalate as needed and provide feedback on role and workload.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in HR processes.
  • Collaborate with international teams across locations and cultures; adapt to different working styles.
Basic Qualifications
  • Superior attention to detail.
  • Understanding of processes and program regulations and their translation into the technical environment.
  • Ability to audit and correct data in MyTime to ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • Ability to escalate issues appropriately.
  • Comfortable providing feedback on role and work volume.
  • Independent working capability with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Participation in continuous improvement of HR processes.
  • Strong ownership, bias for action, delivering results, and high standards.
  • Ability to work in international teams across different locations and cultures.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
  • MS Office experience (Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a transactional/process-based environment.
  • Experience in HR Shared Services.
  • Experience working in a multinational company.
