We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to lead the human resources function for our growing Home Care division. This role will be responsible for overseeing talent acquisition, compliance, employee relations, performance management, and HR strategy, ensuring alignment with our mission to provide compassionate, high-quality in-home care to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals in the home care sector.
- Advise senior management on HR trends, workforce planning, and organizational structure.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment for caregivers, nurses, and administrative staff.
- Implement sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates in a competitive labor market.
- Enhance onboarding programs to improve retention and employee engagement.
Compliance & Employee Relations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, especially those specific to home health care (e.g., labor laws, HIPAA, OSHA).
- Manage employee relations issues and conduct investigations as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor law changes and industry regulations.
Performance Management & Training
- Drive performance review processes and promote a culture of continuous feedback.
- Identify training and development needs and coordinate learning programs for staff.
- Support leadership development and succession planning.
Compensation & Benefits
- Partner with Finance to review and update compensation structures.
- Oversee benefits administration, including health, PTO, and retirement programs.
Culture & Engagement
- Foster a supportive and inclusive culture that promotes staff well-being and high morale.
- Lead initiatives related to employee engagement, diversity & inclusion, and retention.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or HR certification preferred).
- 3-9 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HR leadership role.
- Experience in home care, home health, or healthcare environments strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of labor laws, employment practices, and healthcare HR compliance.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
