HSE Officer

We are seeking a qualified HSE Officer to join our E&I project team in the Oil & Gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor Health, Safety & Environment policies on-site.
• Support site supervisors with toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness programs.
• Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with HSE policies and regulations.
• Monitor construction activities and report unsafe practices or conditions.
• Enforce Permit to Work (PTW) systems and other safety protocols.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents; produce detailed reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Participate in toolbox talks, HSE inductions, and safety training for site workers.
• Ensure compliance with NEBOSH, local regulations, and international standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
• Maintain and update HSE documentation, logs, and records (including inspection checklists, registers, and audit reports).
• Prepare weekly and monthly HSE statistics
• Liaise with Project Engineer, subcontractors, and Supervisors to resolve HSE issues on site.
• Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement in HSE performance.
• Assist with emergency response planning and drills.
• Have knowledge on Electrical works

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related field.
• NEBOSH IGC certification – Mandatory
• 3–5 years of HSE experience in Oil & Gas. Electrical work experience highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence.
• Strong knowledge of UAE safety codes and HSE regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
