Job Title: HSE Officer

1. Health & Safety Management

• Conduct Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) for all operational activities.
• Prepare and review Job Safety Analysis (JSA) before high-risk activities.
• Conduct safety inductions for new employees and contractors.
• Organize regular toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions.
• Ensure safe work practices in high-risk operations such as:
• Blasting operations
• Industrial painting and coating
• Arc spray applications
• Chemical handling and storage
• Oven and heat treatment processes
• Monitor and enforce PPE compliance at all work locations.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and site audits.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses.
• Prepare incident reports and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain emergency preparedness plans and participate in mock drills.

2. Environmental Management

• Identify environmental aspects and impacts of operations.
• Monitor waste disposal, emissions, and hazardous material handling.
• Ensure compliance with environmental legal requirements.
• Promote environmental awareness and sustainability practices.
• Maintain environmental records and compliance documentation.

3. Audit & Compliance

• Support internal audits and external certification audits.
• Assist in preparation of audit reports and corrective action tracking.
• Maintain HSE documentation, registers, and legal compliance records.
• Ensure alignment with company QMS and HSE policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering / Science / Safety or related field).
• Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (preferred).
• Additional HSE certifications (NEBOSH / IOSH preferred).
• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, coating, or industrial sector.

Key Skills

• Strong knowledge of QMS & HSE management systems.
• Audit planning, reporting, and documentation control.
• Risk assessment and incident investigation expertise.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Strong documentation and regulatory compliance management.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with production teams.
