HSE Officer

  • Implement and monitor site-specific HSE plans and procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits at the site.
  • Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure that all site personnel comply with company safety rules and regulations.
  • Deliver toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness sessions for site employees and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate with project management and subcontractors to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate HSE documentation, reports, and safety records.
  • Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
  • Liaise with authorities and clients regarding safety matters when required.
  • Support emergency preparedness and response plans.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an HSE Officer in the construction industry (UAE experience preferred).
  • Valid SARS (Safety Advisor Registration Scheme) card or eligibility to apply is mandatory.
  • Certified in NEBOSH IGC / IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent HSE qualification.
  • Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and international safety standards (OSHA, ISO 45001, etc.).
  • Strong communication, observation, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced site environment.
