- Implement and monitor site-specific HSE plans and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits at the site.
- Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure that all site personnel comply with company safety rules and regulations.
- Deliver toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness sessions for site employees and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with project management and subcontractors to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate HSE documentation, reports, and safety records.
- Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
- Liaise with authorities and clients regarding safety matters when required.
- Support emergency preparedness and response plans.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an HSE Officer in the construction industry (UAE experience preferred).
- Valid SARS (Safety Advisor Registration Scheme) card or eligibility to apply is mandatory.
- Certified in NEBOSH IGC / IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent HSE qualification.
- Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and international safety standards (OSHA, ISO 45001, etc.).
- Strong communication, observation, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced site environment.
