Full job description

We are MEP Company in Abu Dhabi currently looking for HSE Officer.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure strict adherence to company HSE policies, procedures, and standards.
• Lead the HSE team on-site and act as the main interface with company representatives and clients.
• Conduct regular risk assessments for electrical and instrumentation activities and implement effective control measures.
• Stay updated with relevant industry regulations and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HSE requirements.
• Lead investigations of incidents and accidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct toolbox talks with a focus on electrical and instrumentation safety.
• Develop and deliver HSE training programs to improve workforce awareness and competency.
• Prepare and maintain emergency response plans and conduct regular drills to test effectiveness.
• Monitor and report HSE performance KPIs to project management.
• Perform routine site inspections to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Collaborate with project teams to promote and maintain safe work practices.
• Monitor site conditions in line with the HSE Management System.
• Participate in HSE audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Conduct incident reporting and follow-up actions.
• Develop HSE improvement plans aligned with local and international standards.
• Supervise and guide HSE staff to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Deliver safety induction programs and track employee training records.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and monitor implementation.
• Review and update risk assessments when gaps are identified.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• HSE Certification or Equivalent, NEBOSH and OSHAD Certification.
• 3-5 years experience.
