HSE Officer

We are seeking a qualified HSE Officer with proven experience in airport projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of site safety compliance, reporting procedures, and client/authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement site HSE procedures, risk controls, toolbox talks, permits, and daily safety monitoring activities.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE plan, legal requirements, client rules, and authority regulations.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, safety observations, and follow-up of corrective actions.
• Monitor lifting activities, work at height, hot works, equipment operation, housekeeping, and emergency preparedness.
• Prepare HSE reports, incident/near-miss records, statistics, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with client HSE teams, consultants, and internal site management on safety matters.
• Support induction, training, and awareness programs for workforce and subcontractors.
• Ensure proper usage of PPE and compliance with permit-to-work and method statement requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant Degree/Diploma with recognized HSE qualification.
• Prior airport project experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of site safety compliance, reporting, and client/authority requirements.
• Experience in heavy steel, construction, or industrial project site environments.
• Good communication, observation, and enforcement skills.

Preferred Profile

• NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Experience in steel erection, lifting operations, and work-at-height safety management is an advantage.
