As an HSE Officer – Substation, you will be responsible for ensuring that appropriate OSH practices are developed, implemented, and monitored during the construction phase of a project.

Prepares and implements the HSE plan for the project.

Prepares risk assessment for the method statements.

Monitors the compliance of all site staff and workers with the safety standards and procedures.

Responds and resolves all issues pertaining to NCRs, Notices of Improvement, site observations, and HSE discrepancies.

Conducts site inspections and in-house trainings for workers.

Prepares safety reports as per the company’s HSE procedures and the project’s contract requirements.

Advises the project manager for legal and HSE training requirements.
We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in an HSE-related field from an accredited university (mandatory).

Professional qualifications suitable for the job, with extensive knowledge of health, safety, and environmental tools and techniques.

Minimum 5 years of experience in project execution, similar to the nature of the required project (e.g., an overhead transmission line project requires experience in projects involving similar risk management).

NEBOSH Certification (Level 3 or higher) - (mandatory).

Previous experience in the UAE or GCC is highly desirable.

Basic knowledge of the health, safety, and environmental aspects of the work to be supervised, associated hazards, control procedures, and emergency procedures.

First aid and firefighting training.

Ability to provide a comprehensive explanation of safety.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSSE) Officer Approval Certificates from Transco or any other company, if applicable

Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
