Human Capital Internship

The Human Capital (HC) Intern will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of Human Capital, including employee engagement, HC operations, compliance, and administrative support. This internship is designed to provide exposure to real-world HC challenges while allowing you to contribute to meaningful projects that support our employees and business goals. In addition, the role will include supporting core administrative and operational functions similar to a Human Capital Assistant, providing a well-rounded perspective of HC and office operations.

This internship would be for December 2025 through March 2026

Responsibilities:

  • Support the onboarding process by helping with E-Verify and I9 Documentation
  • Assist in planning and coordinating employee events and initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HC databases.
  • Answer incoming calls, greet visitors, and support reception duties.
  • Manage mail, shipping, deliveries, and office supplies.
  • Assist with meeting logistics, scheduling, and conference room support.
  • Help maintain internal platforms (SharePoint, Anchor, etc.).
  • Support communication tasks including newsletters, meeting slides, and company updates.
  • Assist with event logistics, company functions, and wellness committee activities.
  • Provide travel and administrative support for executives and HC leadership.
  • Audit and help create process documents for recurring tasks.
  • Support special projects and cross-departmental needs as assigned.

Human Capital Intern Qualifications:

  • Currently in pursuit of 2- or 4-year degree in Human Resources/Capital, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Prior office or internship experience within HR preferred.
  • Experience in working with confidential information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, on computers and other electronic devices
  • Strong interpersonal skills; must be a self-starter, highly organized, and creative.
  • Superior time management and organizational capabilities, including the ability to accurately benchmark project length and deliver on deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and re-prioritize at a moment’s notice.
