Human Resource Manager - IS

Human Resources Manager (Generalist Focus)

Reports To: Vice President-Human Resources

Classification: Full-Time, Exempt

Location: Canal Fulton, Ohio

Position Summary

The Human Resources Manager of our Integrated Solutions (IS) platform serves as a key partner to operations leadership providing hands-on HR generalist support with a primary focus on talent acquisition, employee relations, and onboarding execution. This role ensures consistent HR practices while supporting a growing workforce. The position does not manage payroll or benefits administration but collaborates closely with those functions.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Own full-cycle recruiting – Ohio and potential Arizona Division
  • Partner with hiring managers on workforce planning and role definition
  • Maintain recruiting metrics and drive continuous improvement
  • Support employer branding and local recruiting strategies

Onboarding & New Hire Integration

  • Lead onboarding processes
  • Ensure effective integration of new hires
  • Own the Stay Interview program of 30/60/90/180-day and one-year follow-ups

Employee Relations & HR Support

  • Serve as primary HR contact
  • Provide guidance on performance, conduct, and conflict resolution
  • Ensure consistent application of policies

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws
  • Support audits and maintain documentation
  • Partner with VP of HR on risk mitigation

Compensation

Base Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000 annually

Bonus Program: Target 20% annual bonus based on performance metrics including hiring outcomes, retention, and manager satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
  • 3-5+ years of HR experience
  • Strong recruiting and generalist background
  • Manufacturing or Construction experience preferred
