Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s or Associate degree.

1 to 2 years’ experience in a human resources position preferred.

Job Summary: HR Assistant to support busy HR department. Will be responsible for providing administrative support for the department, assisting with the hiring process, scheduling new employee orientations and training and entering of a high volume of employment records into HR database and assist with benefit management.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Enter employment data into ADP Workforce Now database
  • Assist internal Recruiter with the hiring process, including submitting job postings online and scheduling candidate interviews
  • Assist Leave Specialist administer state and federal employment leaves
  • Helping to develop programs to enhance employee relations and offer employee support to each staff member
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ensuring new hire paperwork is completed and processed
  • Explaining human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees

Physical Demands: Intermittent standing, sitting for long periods of time, finger dexterity to perform duties such as typing and writing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
