Established in 2002 with a vision to make an extraordinary difference in the lives of our stakeholders. We are looking to add a Human Resources Assistant to our HR team.


Position Purpose:

The primary purpose of this position is to assist all administrative areas of human resources in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the accuracy of all human resource records according to established standards. This includes but is not limited to federal, state and local documents, department records, employee records, I-9 documentation, and reporting. Ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of HR processes using the highest possible confidentiality standards and retention guidelines.
  • Administer all MNJ employee programs in partnership with direct manager.
  • Follow appropriate procedures related to recruiting, new hires, employee changes, and terminations.
  • Maintain Human Resources calendar and all relevant scheduling including but not limited to meetings, interviews, new hire onboarding, and employee communication.
  • Pull all HR related invoices monthly and annually for review by manager and digitally file.
  • Maintain company organizational chart, office seating chart, and make updates on an as needed basis.
  • Create and update all relevant Human Resources related Job aids to ensure the most up-to-date processes are being followed.
  • Maintain Human Resources SharePoint page.
  • Assist employees with requests and questions. Escalate to manager as appropriate.
  • Own all department related orders and supplies as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years in an administrative assistant position that reports to a department head and direct team.
  • Must maintain extreme confidentiality to the highest degree in all circumstances.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Strong Excel skills.
  • Must possess the willingness to work harmoniously with other staff members.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with vendors, customers, employees and the general public.

The hourly rate for this role is $25.00-$27.00/hour. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
