Job description:

We have an immediate opening for a Human Resources Assistant for our ISO 27001 Certified company in Bradenton, Florida. The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 8am – 4:00pm. This position plays a vital role in supporting the organization’s HR operations. Excellent communication skills, compliance with employment laws, and smooth HR processes ensure our workplace remains a safe and positive place to work!

Who We Are:
We at Evolution Consulting South & OIG Compliance NOW are a private, ISO 27001 Certified third-party administrator that provides comprehensive monthly sanction screening and investigation services. Our investigators identify and validate excluded individuals/entities working in organizations that receive federal healthcare program money. We search individuals that work for companies that commit certain types of crimes, such as patient abuse and healthcare fraud, that are “excluded” from receiving healthcare program money. Our teams of criminal investigators conduct background check screening services for healthcare, educational, and government facilities, inclusive of employees, affiliated personnel, and vendors/contractors. We also provide nationwide applicant medical services and drug testing that are a perquisite for hiring, Form I-9 and E-Verify, and vendor credentialing services.

Experience:

The ideal candidate has experience as an entry level Human Resources professional, who is interested in growing their responsibilities over time. Prior experience working with a certified Human Resources professional or reporting to a director level position is ideal. The long-term track for this position is Human Resources Director, who will oversee the entire HR department.

The Human Resources Assistant will:

  • Manages human resources operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing staff job contributions; and maintaining compensation.
  • Communicate changes in the organization’s personnel policies and procedures and ensures proper compliance is followed.
  • Schedule interviews, process new hire paperwork, and maintain employee personnel folders.
  • Explain company benefits and administer benefits when employees become eligible.
  • Process all Time off Requests, ensuring the employee is following all company policies related to time off.
  • Prepare Performance Reviews, assist Supervisors and employees with the process, and be present for all performance reviews.
  • Communicate and track increases or decreases in employee hourly wages as a result of new job duties and satisfactory performance reviews
  • Assist the ISO Management Team with specific HR procedures related to the ISO 27001 program.
  • Works directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters.
  • Recommends, evaluates and participates in staff development for the organization.
  • Conduct self in an ethical, legal, and responsible manner at all times.

Physical requirements:

  • The employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time, talk, listen and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and phone.

Compensation:

This is an entry level position. Staring pay is $25 an hour.

There will be reviews at 30, 60, and 90 working days, with potential for more compensation.

We encourage professional development. The ideal HR Assistant is interested in achieving a Professional in Human Resources certificate and designation as PHR from HRCI or SHRM. These achievements throughout the course of employment with Evolution Consulting South, LLC will result in additional compensation.

Experience:

Prior entry level experience in Human Resources is preferred. At a minimum candidates must have a High School diploma/GED.
