Human Resources Assistant

We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Human Resources Coordinator. This position reports to the Director, Human Resources and will work in Limerick, Pennsylvania.

About the position

As a Human Resources Coordinator of the Dometic Limerick team, you will be involved in for collecting, inputting, tracking HR data and will be expected to produce reports while ensuring data accuracy.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Works directly with Staffing Agencies to fill hourly positions
  • Responsible with the filing of highly sensitive documents
  • Prepares and maintains electronic employee files
  • Prepares various and routine reports from HRIS including monthly retention and turnover metrics
  • Ensures all HRIS is updated to track new hires, terminations, and status changes in UKG & Headcount reports
  • Prepares and distributes internal correspondence and announcements
  • Heavily involved with event-planning and coordination of company events and meetings
  • Responsible for daily absenteeism and hours worked reporting
  • Prepare monthly reporting in coordination with Finance and Health & Safety
  • Frontline administrator for benefits programs and assists employees as necessary processes enrollments, updates and terminations within the employee benefit programs
  • Manages Training Matrix System keeping employees and their records up to date
  • Works closely with supervisors to support operations
  • Runs routine reports for analysis
  • Routinely audits the integrity of attendance data to ensure accuracy
  • Responsible for full cycle recruitment for hourly and temporary employees
  • Conducts new hire orientations for hourly and salary new hires, issues new hire paperwork, data entry and employee ID badges and is responsible for creating new hire packages as needed.
  • Coordinate and attend recruitment events as required
  • Serve as recorder for all Union related meetings, hearings, disciplinary hearings
  • Serves as first point of contact for HR related matters

Skills & Requirements

A suitable background would be a solid experience within manufacturing and engineering as well as the following qualifications and experiences:

  • Completion of or working towards, Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required
  • Two years’ experience in an office administrative role preferably in a human resources and in manufacturing environment
  • Minimum two year’s experience in Human Resources or related field

  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a strong team
