Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, and benefits administration. This position requires strong communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of human capital management principles. The Human Resources Coordinator will work closely with management to ensure compliance with employment and labor laws while fostering a positive workplace culture.
Duties
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews using ATS platforms such as Lever and iCIMS.
- Facilitate employee orientation and onboarding processes to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs and maintain accurate records in HRIS systems like Workday, Paychex, or Dayforce.
- Support performance management initiatives by coordinating employee evaluations and training & development programs.
- Collaborate with management on change management strategies and succession planning efforts.
- Ensure compliance with FMLA, OSHA regulations, affirmative action planning, and other employment laws.
- Provide support for workforce management tasks including data collection, payroll processing via ADP or Paylocity, and conflict management.
- Maintain accurate employee records through diligent data entry and organization design practices.
- Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns and facilitating communication between staff and management.
Experience
- Proven experience in human resources management or a related administrative role is essential.
- Familiarity with HR sourcing techniques and talent management strategies is highly desirable.
- Experience with project management methodologies to effectively coordinate HR initiatives.
- Proficiency in using various HR software systems such as Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, Ceridian, or UltiPro is preferred.
- Strong understanding of employment & labor law principles as well as workers' compensation processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage social media platforms for employer branding purposes.
