Human Resources Coordinator

LHH is partnering with a large organization in Northern VA for an opening in human resources. This role provides project coordination and administrative support to the HR and organizational development function at the headquarters, primarily supporting learning and development and other initiatives, with opportunities to contribute across broader programs as needed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support HR initiatives by coordinating assigned projects and activities, including tracking milestones, deliverables, and timelines
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to assist with day‑to‑day project execution and follow‑up
  • Maintain project trackers, schedules, and documentation with guidance from senior team members
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare materials, capture notes, and track action items
  • Assist with collecting, entering, and maintaining program metrics and feedback data
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for learning and development programs, including scheduling sessions, preparing materials, and coordinating with facilitators and participants
  • Contribute to additional HR projects and tasks as assigned


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in project management, human resources, or a related field
  • Familiarity with basic project management concepts, tools, or methodologies
  • Demonstrated interest in learning and development, employee engagement, or corporate operations
