Position Overview

The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources function across multiple Zachry Hotels properties. This role helps coordinate and execute key HR programs including onboarding, recruitment support, employee records management, HR systems administration, compliance tracking, and employee engagement initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Support day-to-day Human Resources operations across multiple Zachry Hotels properties.
  • Serve as a resource for HR teams and leadership on HR processes, documentation, and systems.
  • Assist with maintaining standardized HR documentation including employee personnel files and confidential records.
  • Support HR leadership with coordination of HR initiatives, programs, and compliance activities.
  • Assist with onboarding activities including processing paperwork, coordinating orientation, and ensuring documentation is completed accurately.
  • Ensure completion and accuracy of employment documentation including Form I-9s and new hire records.
  • Support pre-employment requirements including background checks and onboarding documentation.
  • Assist team members with general benefits enrollment questions and related documentation.
  • Coordinate with payroll to ensure employee status changes are processed accurately and timely.
  • Maintain records related to leave tracking, attendance, and employment status updates.
  • Support HR compliance with company policies, employment regulations, and documentation requirements.
  • Assist with HR audits, reports, and workforce data requests.
  • Track required training, certifications, and employee acknowledgements.
  • Maintain organized HR records and files in accordance with company retention policies.
  • Assist with recruitment coordination including interview scheduling and candidate communication.
  • Support job postings and internal transfer processes as directed.
  • Assist with coordination of training sessions and track training completion records.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and HR-led programs across hotel properties.
  • Coordinate HR meetings, schedules, and department calendars when needed.
  • Assist HR leadership with special projects and cross-property initiatives.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules based on operational needs.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous Human Resources or administrative experience preferred.
  • Experience working in hospitality or service-oriented environments preferred.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Other Qualifications

  • Spanish speaking skills required.
  • Strong commitment to integrity, service excellence, and teamwork.
  • Ability to adapt and support HR operations across multiple hotel locations.
