Human Resources Director

We’re Hiring: Director of Human Resources | Kuwait

A leading and fast-growing retail group in Kuwait with GCC operations is looking for a hands-on HR leader to build and lead the HR function during an important growth phase.

Current team: 2,000+ employees across multiple business units

This is not a traditional corporate HR role.

This role will redefine how HR operates in the organization.

We are looking for someone who has built, fixed, or transformed HR functions — someone who can operate at both strategic and execution level .

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and build the full HR function (Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, C&B, Performance)

• Design organizational structures, salary bands, and performance frameworks

• Improve hiring speed and quality across the business

• Drive a high-performance, accountable culture

• Partner directly with the CEO and leadership team on scaling the organization

• Strengthen HR systems, reporting, and workforce planning

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of HR experience with full HR ownership

• Proven background in retail or consumer businesses

• Experience managing large workforce populations (2,000+)

• Strong track record in:

• building HR structures
• solving hiring challenges
• improving performance culture

• GCC experience preferred

• Arabic & English preferred
