Location: Spartanburg, SC (Onsite)

Work Schedule: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening or weekend work.

Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System (SRHS) is one of South Carolina’s largest and most respected healthcare providers, serving communities with a commitment to excellence, compassion, and innovation. We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to help support our mission by fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring HR practices align with our values.

Position Summary

As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting HR operations for a designated area within SRHS. You will handle a variety of responsibilities including employee relations, onboarding, training, performance management, policy interpretation, and compliance. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and making a meaningful impact across the organization.

What You Will Do

  • Provide day-to-day HR support to associates and leaders in your assigned area
  • Partner with corporate HR teams on employee relations and policy guidance
  • Support performance management processes and progressive discipline
  • Deliver training programs based on organizational needs
  • Assist with onboarding, benefits enrollment, and compensation initiatives
  • Maintain employee records and prepare reports
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Participate in cross-functional teams and special projects
  • Stay informed on HR laws and regulations affecting healthcare

What We Are Looking For

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent HR experience

Experience:

  • 2–4 years of progressive HR experience
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and programs (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, HIPAA, EEO, etc.)
  • Solid analytical and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Adaptable, proactive, and team-oriented
