Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires a strong understanding of human capital management, talent acquisition, and employee relations to support our organization's strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee human resources management including recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation processes.
- Manage talent acquisition efforts by sourcing candidates through various channels, including social media management and ATS platforms.
- Ensure compliance with FMLA, OSHA regulations, and employment & labor laws.
- Facilitate employee evaluations and performance management processes to enhance workforce effectiveness.
- Administer employee benefits programs and manage benefits administration tasks.
- Collaborate on change management initiatives to support organizational development and strategic planning.
- Conduct training & development sessions to promote continuous learning within the organization.
- Handle employee relations issues, providing conflict management support as needed.
- Maintain HRIS databases for accurate data entry and reporting on workforce metrics.
- Assist in affirmative action planning and succession planning efforts to ensure a diverse and capable workforce.
- Manage payroll processes using systems such as ADP, Paychex, or similar platforms.
- Support project management initiatives related to HR functions and organizational design.
Experience
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in human resources with a focus on talent management, employee relations, and benefits administration.
- Familiarity with HR software such as Workday, Dayforce, Oracle HCM, or SAP SuccessFactors is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws including FMLA, OSHA standards, and workers' compensation regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in data collection and analysis for informed decision-making in HR practices.
- Administrative experience within an HR setting is highly desirable.
