Human Resources Generalist

Key Responsibilities

Full Life Cycle Recruitment (Primary Focus)

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts across multiple U.S. and Canadian locations.
  • Manage sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding processes.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to forecast workforce needs and develop recruiting strategies aligned with business growth.
  • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines to support rapid operational expansion.
  • Ensure a high-quality candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Administer HR policies, procedures, and programs across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and provincial labor laws.
  • Maintain proper documentation and support audits and reporting requirements.

Employee Relations & Performance Management

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees.
  • Address employee concerns, conduct investigations, and support conflict resolution efforts.
  • Assist with performance review processes and development planning.

HR Systems & Administration

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data integrity.
  • Support payroll coordination and reporting as needed.
  • Track and analyze HR metrics to support decision-making.

Benefits & Engagement

  • Oversee benefits administration, including enrollments and employee inquiries.
  • Support training initiatives and engagement programs that strengthen workplace culture and retention.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience managing full life cycle recruitment in a high-growth or multi-site environment.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. employment law; Canadian labor law exposure is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) preferred.
