SUMMARY
This role will support various HR functions within our organization and will possess a wide-ranging knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices, coupled with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and effectively engage with employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field required and 3-5 years HR generalist background including working knowledge of employment regulations and compliance requirements; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Paylocity software experience a strong plus.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification are preferred or expected to achieve within two years.
SKILLS/ABILITIES
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work involves standing and walking for brief periods of time, but most duties are performed from a seated position. There is potential for eye strain from reading detailed materials and looking at a computer screen. Work normally requires finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination to operate computer keyboards at a moderate skill level. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet and within an office setting.
