Human Resources Generalist

Dollar Loan Center, a premier financial services company headquartered in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support daily Human Resources operations. This individual will contribute to a positive, compliant, and people-focused workplace. This role will handle a variety of HR functions including payroll administration, benefits management, leave administration, employee engagement and answering general HR policy questions.

You’ll work closely with the Human Resources Director to ensure HR practices align with company goals and maintain an outstanding employee experience across all teams. This is a full time, in-office role that offers excellent benefits to include medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO and more!

Key Responsibilities of the HR Generalist:

  • Partner with the Human Resources Director to understand and execute organizational HR priorities and strategies.
  • Manage benefit reconciliations, leaves of absence, unemployment claims, partner on engagement initiatives, and oversee the payroll process.
  • Provide day-to-day HR support to team members and management, addressing benefit questions, leave requests (FMLA and other), accommodations, and payroll concerns amongst other items.
  • Oversee the Payroll Coordinator and take ownership of semi-monthly payroll processing, including verification of accuracy, benefits deductions, and collaboration with payroll provider and HR Director when issues arise.
  • Coordinate new hire benefit enrollment, annual open enrollment, benefit reconciliations, and promote wellness and engagement programs to the employee population.
  • Stay informed on HR trends, regulatory updates, and emerging technologies in HRIS, payroll, and talent management.
  • Handle sensitive employee information with the highest level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and dependability in meeting deadlines and operational goals.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications Desired:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of HR Generalist or HR management experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Paycom HRIS highly desired.
  • Broad based understanding of HR laws, benefits, payroll processes, and compliance requirements.

  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work efficiently under deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate Excel knowledge strongly preferred)
  • Ability to quickly learn new HRIS and other talent management systems.
