Your role as an HR Manager:
-
Perform full cycle recruiting activities, from job posting to onboarding

Identify and execute strategies for employee engagement and retention

Work with business partners to identify training and development needs/opportunities

Perform compensation analysis as needed, ensuring that our cash compensation strategies are at or above market for our position

Work closely with Finance to negotiate benefits contracts annually or as required, balancing benefit costs with coverage provided

Be the technical expert on retirement plans offered, including the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)

Complete weekly, monthly and annual reports, including analysis as needed (i.e. annual census files, turnover and retention analysis, compensation statements, etc.)

Ensure that all subsidiary companies comply with all federal and state laws, guidelines and legal interpretations. Stay abreast of HR trends and best practices, including innovative benefits, recruiting and employee engagement initiatives

Provide HR support for all corporate acquisitions and sales, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for all new hires
What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor degree in a business field/MBA preferred

A minimum of ten years of experience in Human Resources

Experience working in a manufacturing or construction environment

Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact with all employees, managers and business partners

Ability to multi-task and work effectively in an environment with continuous interruptions

Commitment to the confidentiality required in the HR function

Ability to think outside the box to resolve employee relations issues and the ability to identify downstream effects of decisions made

Excellent conflict resolution skills

Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision

Ability to work under stress, possess a high level of motivation and effectively prioritize tasks

Proficiency with HR software (UKG preferred) and MS Office

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings and weekends as required
