About the role
We are a growing specialty medical practice seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations across our organization. This role will work closely with leadership to support hiring, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and organizational culture.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, solutions-oriented HR professional who enjoys building strong teams, creating structure, and supporting a positive and accountable workplace environment.

This role supports our team across both Iowa Allergy clinic locations in Ankeny and West Des Moines, so regular in-person presence at both sites will be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead hiring and onboarding processes across the organization
  • Support employee relations, coaching, and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws
  • Administer employee benefits and assist with payroll coordination
  • Maintain HR policies, employee records, and compliance documentation
  • Partner with leadership to support a positive, accountable workplace culture
  • Ensure the Employee Handbook is up to date bi-yearly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR) preferred
  • 3+ years of HR experience (healthcare experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • High level of organization, discretion, and professionalism

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Human resources management: 2 years (Preferred)
