Human Resources Manager

Summary:

Peerstar is seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations and support a growing, mission-driven behavioral health organization. This role will oversee HR functions including employee relations, compliance, policies, and workforce support while partnering with leadership to strengthen employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily HR operations including employee relations, worker's compensation, benefits, policies, and compliance.
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning, performance management, and employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Monitor HR metrics and help implement programs that support employee development and retention.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of Human Resources experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
  • Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or human services preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and employee relations.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
