Human Resources Manager - Pacha New York

About Pacha New York Pacha New York is a large-scale music and nightlife venue located in Brooklyn, presenting global electronic artists, live performances, and cultural programming. As part of The Pacha Group's international portfolio, the venue combines advanced production technology, hospitality services, and community-focused programming to create a leading destination for music and entertainment in New York City.

Position Overview Pacha New York is seeking an experienced and hands on Human Resources Manager to lead all people operations for the venue, supporting a fast paced, high volume nightlife and live entertainment environment. This role is responsible for employee relations, workforce planning, labor compliance, payroll oversight, and HR cost management, ensuring the business operates compliantly while supporting performance, culture, and growth. Working closely with venue leadership and global HR stakeholders, the HR Manager will act as a trusted partner to the business, balancing operational demands with strong governance, data driven decision making, and a people first approach aligned with Pacha's culture and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary HR lead for Pacha New York, managing day to day HR operations and employee relations.
  • Lead and resolve complex employee relations matters, including performance management, grievances, investigations, and terminations.
  • Ensure full compliance with New York State, NYC employment laws, and U.S. federal labor laws, including wage & hour, overtime, paid leave, and workplace regulations.
  • Lead recruitment and onboarding for salaried and hourly roles, including seasonal and event based hiring.
  • Oversee payroll, timekeeping, and benefits administration in partnership with external providers.
  • Own HR budgets, labor forecasting, and cost control, partnering closely with Finance and venue leadership.
  • Produce workforce reports, labor analytics, and executive ready presentations to support decision making.
  • Support performance management, engagement, training, and DEI initiatives across the venue.
  • Collaborate with global HR teams to align local practices with group standards and reporting.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, ideally within nightlife, live entertainment, hospitality, or high volume operational environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of New York State and NYC labor laws, particularly wage & hour compliance.
  • Proven experience managing employee relations cases end to end.
  • Experience with HR budgeting, labor forecasting, and cost control.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong ability to produce data driven workforce reporting.
  • Confident communicator with experience partnering with senior leaders and operational teams.
  • Highly organised, commercially minded, and comfortable working in a fast paced, event led environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays aligned with venue operations.

Salary Range: USD 105,000 - 115,000 per year (Final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity)
