Human Resources Officer

Position: Human Resources Officer- Employee Relations


Job Purpose:

The Officer – Employee Relations will be responsible for managing employee disciplinary processes, ensuring compliance with HR policies & labor laws. The role involves handling misconduct cases, conducting preliminary investigations, maintaining documentation, and supporting fair and consistent disciplinary actions across the organization.


Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in Employee Relations, HR Operations, or disciplinary case handling.
  • Experience in banking or financial sector (preferably Microfinance Bank) will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage disciplinary cases including misconduct, policy violations, and employee grievances in line with HR policies.
  • Issue warning letters, show-cause notices, and other disciplinary communications after necessary approvals.
  • Conduct preliminary investigations, collect evidence, and prepare investigation reports.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, labor laws, and SBP regulations.
  • Maintain confidential documentation and case records; track and report employee relations cases.
  • Support HR in resolving workplace grievances and conflicts while ensuring fair disciplinary practices.
  • Coordinate with DAC Committee, Legal, and Audit teams when required and assist in hearings or inquiry proceedings.
