Human Resources Recruiter

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, including candidate pre-screening, coordinating pre-employment requirements, and supporting onboarding efforts to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Pre-Screening

  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for various roles across the organization.
  • Conduct initial phone screens to assess qualifications, interest, and cultural fit.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.

Pre-Employment Coordination

  • Schedule and track drug screenings and background checks.
  • Communicate with candidates regarding pre-employment requirements and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Onboarding Support

  • Prepare and distribute offer letters and onboarding documents.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and ensure completion of required paperwork.
  • Serve as a point of contact for new hires during their onboarding period.

Administrative & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Generate recruitment reports and metrics as needed.
  • Support HR initiatives and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of recruiting or HR experience, preferably in healthcare or senior living.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with ATS and HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience working with laws related to relationships and negotiations between employers and employees. Includes knowledge of issues and laws related to wages, work hours, workplace discrimination, unions, and collective bargaining.
  • Experience managing a company's continuous engagement with its target audience.
  • Experience with or knowledge of establishing positive relationships between employers and employees.
  • Experience with strategically recruiting, onboarding, retaining, and developing skilled employees.
  • Skill or experience in cold calling.
