HVAC Department Manager

Overview

We’re expanding and looking for an experienced, high-energy HVAC Department Manager to lead our growing HVAC team. If you’re a strong leader with technical expertise and a drive to build high-performing teams, this role gives you the opportunity to make a major impact. You’ll oversee operations, support technicians, and help us scale as demand grows.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop HVAC service and install techs
• Recruit and onboard new technicians
• Build a positive, accountable, team-driven culture

Operations Management

• Oversee daily HVAC service, install, and maintenance operations
• Manage technician schedules and job assignments
• Ensure safety, quality control, and code compliance
• Support complex jobs with technical guidance

Customer & Project Support

• Assist with customer escalations and project planning
• Ensure fast, accurate, high-quality job completion
• Strengthen customer satisfaction and repeat business

Performance & Growth

• Track KPIs and implement improvements
• Work with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and inventory
• Support sales with estimates, proposals, and technical insights

Qualifications

• 5+ years HVAC experience (service or install)
• 2+ years leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong HVAC technical background
• EPA certification
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-moving, growth-focused environment

Pay: $90,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
