HVAC Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, air handling units (AHUs), FCUs, cooling towers, and ventilation systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC equipment.
• Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, motors, thermostats, sensors, valves, and filters.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for energy efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Maintain maintenance logs, service reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for major repairs or upgrades.
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or related field.
• Proven Gulf experience in HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of HVAC controls, refrigeration cycles and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with building management systems (BMS).
• Understanding of safety standards and local HVAC codes.
