HVAC Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer – HVAC Systems / Technical Sales Engineer (HVAC)

Role Summary

A Sales Engineer – HVAC is responsible for driving commercial sales of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems and related equipment across the Dubai/UAE market. This role combines technical HVAC knowledge with strong sales and relationship-building skills to identify, pursue, and close business opportunities with contractors, consultants, developers, and end-clients.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development

  • Proactively generate and follow up on B2B sales enquiries for HVAC systems (e.g., VRF, ducted units, chillers, AHUs, FCUs).
  • Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and gross margin objectives.
  • Develop a strong customer base including MEP contractors, consultants, developers, dealers and facility managers.
  • Expand sales territory through cold calling, networking, and lead qualification.

Technical & Commercial Support

  • Review project requirements, tender drawings, and specifications to recommend optimal HVAC solutions.
  • Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, and competitive quotations tailored to client needs.
  • Assist clients, consultants, and engineers with product selection and compliance details.
  • Present and demonstrate solutions in sales meetings and presentations.

Relationship & Account Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers. LinkedIn
  • Provide exceptional customer service to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Stay aware of competitor activity and market trends to inform sales strategies.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales reports, CRM entries, and activity logs.
  • Coordinate internally with engineering, projects, logistics, and finance teams to ensure successful order processing and project execution.

Required Qualifications & SkillsEducation & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) is preferred; some roles accept a diploma with strong HVAC experience.
  • Typical experience requirement: 2–7+ years in HVAC sales (UAE experience and local network is a strong advantage).

Skills

  • Solid understanding of HVAC products and systems (VRF, package units, chillers, AHUs, FAHUs, controls).
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Arabic) are helpful.
  • Proficiency with CRM software, MS Office, and basic engineering tools (AutoCAD/Revit is a plus).

Other Requirements

  • Valid UAE driving license (needed for client/site visits).
  • Ability to work independently in a target-driven environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
