HYBRID Opportunity in DFW, TX

We are looking for a detail-oriented eCommerce Product Copy Editor to join our team. This role is responsible for writing and editing compelling, accurate, and optimized product description copy for our online catalog across multiple brands. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail, understands ecommerce and SEO best practices, and can translate product features into customer-facing copy that drives conversions while upholding brand voice and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and enhance AI-generated sales copy for online products (including titles, short descriptions, and long descriptions) to be clear, engaging, and SEO-optimized while provide feedback suggestions for AI prompts

  • Proofread and edit all copy for grammar, clarity, and compliance with legal/regulatory requirements

  • Work proactively with cross-functional teams to understand product benefits, obtain necessary information and ensure accuracy of product information

  • Maintain a consistent copy style guide across categories and brands

  • Translate technical product details into consumer-friendly benefits

  • Ensure all product copy reflects the appropriate brand voice and brand style

  • Support A/B testing efforts by creating variant copy for product titles and descriptions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Journalism, English, or related field

  • 2+ years of experience

  • Experience developing branded copy for use on the internet, preferably in an eCommerce environment or in a retail industry

  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills with attention to detail

  • Good organizational, multitasking, and time management skills

  • Working knowledge of eCommerce, current web content development practices, SEO principles and keyword integration

  • Experience working with product information management (PIM) systems or eCommerce CMS is a plus

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage large volumes of SKUs

The salary range for this opportunity is $60,500 - $75,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors.
