Role Summary

PRASA Infocom & Power Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled IBMS/ELV Presales Design & Estimation Engineer to support the presales team in solution design, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and technical proposals for Integrated Building Management Systems (IBMS) and ELV projects. The role will closely work with sales, OEMs, and project teams to deliver technically sound and competitive solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements, RFPs, and tender documents for IBMS / ELV projects
• Design IBMS solutions covering systems such as:
• BMS
• Fire Alarm & PA
• Access Control & CCTV
• Structured Cabling
• DCIM (preferred)
• Prepare technical designs, schematics, and architecture diagrams
• Develop BOQs, cost estimates, and pricing in coordination with OEMs and vendors
• Prepare technical & commercial proposals, compliance sheets, and submittals
• Coordinate with sales team during pre-bid meetings, clarifications, and negotiations
• Support value engineering and cost optimization
• Maintain updated knowledge of OEM products, standards, and industry best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering
• 3–7 years of experience in IBMS / ELV presales, design, and estimation
• Strong understanding of IBMS architecture and integration concepts
• Hands-on experience in BOQ preparation and estimation
• Familiarity with OEMs like Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider, Johnson Controls, etc. (preferred)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel
• Good communication and documentation skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Data Center or large commercial projects
• Exposure to tendering and EPC project environments
• Knowledge of relevant standards and codes
