About the Opportunity

Cabonne Council has a permanent, full-time opportunity for a collaborative and energetic Administration Officer to join the Infrastructure team.

The purpose of this position is to provide accurate and timely administrative advice and support to the department and the general public.

About You

This role is for a highly organised administrative professional with strong written and verbal communication skills.

To be successful in this role, you will possess
  • Certificate III in Business Administration and/or previous experience in a similar role.
  • Class C driver's licence.
  • Ability to draft correspondence and documents with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own time ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Above average computer skills including Microsoft programs and proficiency in data management software.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact and liaise with internal staff members and external customers.
  • A demonstrated knowledge of records management practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
Remuneration and Benefits

The appointment will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023 and Cabonne Council's policies and conditions of employment.

This position is graded 4-5 in Council's salary system with a gross weekly wage range of $1129.10 - $1281.50 dependant on qualifications and experience.
