Position Overview

We’re seeking a passionate Immigration Attorney (3+ years of experience) who wants to grow into a leadership role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being in court, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of immigrants.

You’ll handle your own caseload, represent clients before USCIS and EOIR, draft persuasive legal filings, and mentor a dedicated team of paralegals. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn directly from a litigation-focused, entrepreneurial law firm and contribute to shaping the future of our practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advocate for Clients
  • Represent clients in adjustment of status, asylum, and naturalization interviews, as well as removal defense hearings before EOIR.
  • Litigation & Writing
  • Draft and file motions, briefs, and appeals with USCIS, EOIR, and the BIA.
  • Team Leadership
  • Supervise and mentor paralegals/legal assistants to ensure case quality and timely filings.
  • Case Preparation
  • Work on complex applications such as I-485, I-589, cancellation of removal, TPS, naturalization, U visas, and VAWA petitions.
  • Client Communication
  • Maintain regular, clear communication and manage deadlines.
  • Stay Current
  • Track immigration law and policy changes to strengthen case strategy.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar license in any U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Immigration Attorney.
  • Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail.
  • Commitment to immigrant rights and client-centered representation.
