Immigration Legal Assistant

Immediate opening for a full-time, bilingual (English/Spanish) immigration legal assistant at a high energy law firm.

Immigration assistant will be working on court/removal immigration cases with I-589 Asylum Applications and 42B Cancellation of Removal Applications. We are an extremely high-volume law office. The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and must be deadline-driven. Must be comfortable multitasking as there are a lot of duties they will be handling. Vastly paper-intensive. Heavy client-contact throughout the day via phone and in-person. Candidate will mostly be preparing applications and assembling packets to submit to Court. Experience required.

***Due to our mostly Spanish speaking clientele, candidate must read, write, and speak Spanish fluently ***

PTO provided after probationary period of 90 days. We are open Monday through Friday 8a – 5p. 1 hour lunch. Hours are strictly enforced. Closed on weekends and most major holidays. No overtime available.
