Import Executive

Job Title: Import Executive
Location: Karachi
Gender: Open to all (female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply)
Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Business Administration or related field (HEC recognized)
Experience: 1–4 years
Preferred Age Range: 26–29 years

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and verify all documentation related to imports and procurement.
  • Oversee day-to-day import operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
  • Calculate landed costs using HS codes for machinery, spare parts, and other items.
  • Source, evaluate, and develop international and local vendors for cost, quality, and delivery optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with trade regulations, customs laws, and company policies.
  • Track pending orders, follow up with suppliers, and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Prepare monthly import and procurement performance reports for management.
  • Conduct reconciliations, checks, and reporting in line with company standards.
  • Identify risks/bottlenecks in import processes and suggest corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and customer service teams for smooth operations.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor and client relationships.
  • Coordinate with Accounts/Admin for duty invoices, approvals, and related queries.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures, and compliance.
  • Hands-on experience in import documentation, landed cost calculation, and vendor management.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and business applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with vendors/stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
