Job Title: Import Executive
Location: Karachi

Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Business Administration or related field (HEC recognized)
Experience: 1–4 years
Preferred Age Range: 26–29 years
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and verify all documentation related to imports and procurement.
- Oversee day-to-day import operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
- Calculate landed costs using HS codes for machinery, spare parts, and other items.
- Source, evaluate, and develop international and local vendors for cost, quality, and delivery optimization.
- Ensure compliance with trade regulations, customs laws, and company policies.
- Track pending orders, follow up with suppliers, and ensure timely deliveries.
- Prepare monthly import and procurement performance reports for management.
- Conduct reconciliations, checks, and reporting in line with company standards.
- Identify risks/bottlenecks in import processes and suggest corrective actions.
- Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and customer service teams for smooth operations.
- Build and maintain strong vendor and client relationships.
- Coordinate with Accounts/Admin for duty invoices, approvals, and related queries.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures, and compliance.
- Hands-on experience in import documentation, landed cost calculation, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and business applications.
- Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with vendors/stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
