You will be part of a group that is responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and administering a commissions system within the Accounting and Finance department.

To give you an idea of the team structure, you will work on the Incentive Compensation team, reporting to the Incentive Compensation Supervisor.


Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:


  • Analyze and interpret the calculations of Monthly and Quarterly Bonuses for HD supported Doctors as well as Independent Contractors to ensure alignment with contractual agreements and organizational compensation strategies.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert with SAP SuccessFactors Incentive Management (formerly SAP Commissions), advising doctors and field administration on compensation structures reporting, and system functionality.
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders to evaluate and implement Incentive Compensation as it relates to doctor compensation and various bonus programs.
  • Evaluate compensation structures for new affiliations, providing analysis and recommendations to support accurate integration into Heartland Dental’s compensation framework.
  • Conduct monthly analysis on doctor compensation and various bonus programs
  • Provide day-to-day customer service to supported offices, including the monitoring of requests/questions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of processes, user guides, and workflows, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and accuracy.
  • Assist with cross-functional responsibilities within the Accounting and Finance team

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field,
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound judgement and adapt to changes in priorities or business needs
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data sets, identify discrepancies or trends, and translate findings into clear, actionable insights
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex information to a variety of stakeholders
  • Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Understanding of SAP cloud platform and its key services
  • Experience implementing Incentive plans
  • Experience with a commissions system

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
