Incharge Cutting Department

· Receive and review the cutting plan based on production orders and line requirements.

· Coordinate with the merchandising, pattern, and production departments to understand style details, fabric types, shrinkage, and consumption.

· Plan daily and weekly cutting schedules to meet production targets.

· Supervise fabric inspection before spreading and cutting to ensure no defects or shade variations.

· Monitor fabric usage to minimize waste and maintain accurate consumption reports.

· Manage fabric allocation for different styles, sizes, and colorways.

· Ensure correct fabric relaxation as per fabric type (knits, woven, etc.) before cutting.

· Oversee fabric spreading, marker making, and cutting operations (manual and computerized cutting).

· Ensure accurate marker placement for optimal fabric utilization.

· Check the first cut bundle for accuracy and approve before bulk cutting.

· Supervise numbering, bundling, and issue to the sewing department with proper documentation.

· Lead, train, and supervise the cutting team.
