Independent Contractor (1099)

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Independent Contractor (1099) to generate and close new business opportunities for our medical billing services. The ideal candidate will have strong sales expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting defined performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, cold outreach, networking, and referrals within the healthcare industry.
  • Present and promote medical billing services to clinics, hospitals, and healthcare providers, clearly communicating value propositions.
  • Conduct sales meetings, product demos, and consultations with potential clients to understand their billing challenges and propose tailored solutions.
  • Handle client objections effectively and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to successfully close deals.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with healthcare providers, administrators, and key decision-makers.
  • Manage and maintain an organized sales pipeline, including lead tracking, follow-ups, and deal progression using CRM tools.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (billing, operations, onboarding) to ensure smooth client onboarding and service delivery.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, medical billing regulations, and competitor offerings to position services effectively.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates.
  • Maintain professional communication and represent the company brand with integrity in all client interactions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or medical billing services sales (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of healthcare industry workflows and revenue cycle management (RCM) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote/contract-based environment.
  • Experience using CRM tools for pipeline and client management.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with a target-driven mindset.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare industry workflows and revenue cycle management (RCM) is a plus.
