Infant Care Specialist

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, individualized care to infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being at all times
• Implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development in infants
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment following all health and safety regulations
• Monitor infant milestones and communicate observations with parents or guardians regularly
• Assist with feeding routines, diaper changes, nap schedules, and other daily caregiving tasks
• Engage in positive behavior management techniques to encourage good habits and social skills
• Collaborate with team members to develop personalized care plans that support each infant’s unique needs and developmental goals

Experience

• Prior experience working with infants or in early childhood education settings such as daycare or preschool environments
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for infant care
• Hands-on experience with classroom management and caregiving routines for young children
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly preferred
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
• Background in teaching or nannying that includes toddler care or babysitting is advantageous
